Transference - Original
From the release of my album, Slow Medicine, Transference is one of the titles on the record. I painted a piece for every track, and “Transference” comes from the idea of the Law of Transference, which was when priests would have people place their hands on the head of the lamb to confess before sacrificing it for their wrongs. While I might have taken liberties and departed from the more stringent religious context, I think that the overarching truth is that our actions have repercussions, and there is grace in the recognition and the taking of responsibility for ones actions. Only with responsibility can change ensue.
